WELCOME
Caldwell Presbyterian Church
Welcome! We hope you will worship with us in-person at 10 a.m. in our sanctuary. For those of you who prefer to join from home, please call the church office (518-668-2613) to give us your email information before 1:30p.m. on Friday and we will send you the zoom link for Sunday.
Caldwell Presbyterian Church has been worshiping on Montcalm Street since 1856, but our roots in the Village of Lake George go even further back—to 1810. Today we are a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States, and the Presbytery of Albany.

CALDWELL FAQs:
- Welcoming
When Jesus said, “Come to me, all…” we believe he meant for us to include families of all definitions, immigrants and refugees, the prosperous and the poor. We believe that the more diverse we are, the more we mirror God’s kingdom. Caldwell Church is a welcoming congregation and is actively engaged in the world around us. - Worship and Mission
At the heart of our ministry lies mission and doing the ministry we feel called to do—providing meals for our neighbors, teaching the children about Jesus, and raising our voices in gratitude and praise. Our worship services are traditionally Presbyterian, but we’re not formal about it. Come on in, our doors are open, as are our hearts and minds, and we welcome you to come just as you are. We would be honored to walk with you in the journey of faith. - Youth and Children
Our Christian Education committee begins with Pre-School aged children and continues to teach the faith until our youth depart for college. Our awesome Youth Director, Margo Nelson, leads our kids in serving, learning, and living the faith. We have Youth Group, Sunday School, Children’s Sermons, a Christmas Pageant, Youth Sunday, Confirmation Class, and more. So come with your children, make Caldwell your church home, and grow up here! - Loving our Neighbors
Caldwell is one of four sister churches in Lake George which is one way we are rooted in the community. We serve together hosting community suppers from Oct-May, Walking the Way of the Cross on Good Friday, Easter Ecumenical Sunrise Service at the Pier in Shepard Park on Lake George, and we share in a weekly ecumenical book study which has been going for many years. Our rootedness in Christian friendship runs deep! - Find Your Niche
Caldwell has a church membership of 130, but approximately 200 friends and adherents find a connection here, and a sense of purpose to live out our faith. There are many ways to get involved—book groups, bible studies, Time to Talk, choir, Bell choir, Sunday School, Youth Group, mission, gardening, community dinners, rummage sale, Americade breakfasts, and general life in faith. At Caldwell you will find lifelong friends from every generation, and a place to call your church home. Come and see. We look forward to welcoming you!
