How do you experience your potential as a child of God?
I invite you to worship with us at Caldwell to answer that question and to explore, seek, and discover the divine purpose and destiny for your life. Weekly, we celebrate God’s love at our 10:00 a.m. worship service with prayers, preaching, scripture readings, and beautiful music. We also offer educational classes, Bible studies, and mission programs to uplift and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. We at Caldwell seek to serve and to grow in the Spirit of Christ.
Our church family is a uniquely diverse group of folks. I would say that we are a church
of all seasons. Let me explain …
Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” People from many walks and seasons of life gather in the Lake George area to visit or vacation by the shores of the “Queen of Lakes,” Lake George, New York.
Summer, fall, winter or spring different faces grace the faithful Lake George congregation regulars during our worship services. We are here to embrace you in the love of Jesus Christ no matter what season you may be experiencing.
Some are experiencing fun in the sun in the summer while others love to ski the surrounding mountains in the winter. Others are in a season of rejoicing with wedding celebrations. There are folks who are in the August season of life and find comfort and fellowship in our presence. There are people who come to be consoled in grief and folks who come to sing and joyfully celebrate happy occasions. People come from distant places and people live in the village or close by in the surrounding area. Yes, for everything there is a season and in all seasons there is a time for compassion, caring, worship, study, mission and living daily for God.
So, whether you are a visitor to Lake George or an area resident, come sing the praises of our Lord Jesus, come learn and grow in the grace of God. Come, so that you might be uplifted and spiritually fed to go forth with us into the world to share God’s love with your family, your friends, and your neighbors. May Jesus bless you on your journey and may you feel the hope and presence of God’s love in your life.
Peace and Joy,
The Reverend Shirley A. Mosholder |
